Requests Donadio, Nelson Algren's literary agent, to send a brief account of Algren's current activities for the magazine's notes on contributors for the January issue. Donadio sent the letter to Algren with a pencilled note: Nelson! What do you say? Will you do?" Algren returned the letter with a typed note at the foot of thepage, signed, describing his current writing projects.
